Czech immigration should not take over your life
A small paperwork mistake can create a very big problem.
Immigration rules are difficult to interpret, official communication is often in Czech, and every case depends on details that online forums cannot see. When your right to live, work or study is involved, guessing is not a strategy.
ManGO gives you a clear plan, prepares your case properly and stays with you when the process becomes complicated.
For spouses and children under 18 who accompany the main applicant to Czechia. Issued for 91 days up to 1 year. Does not grant access to the Czech labour market — a job in Czechia requires a work permit or a switch to another permit type (typically Employee Card or EU Blue Card).
Best for: Spouses and minor children joining the main applicant; later renewed by switching to a long-term residence permit filed in Czechia.

A different route from the family visa: in some cases the non-EU family member can apply directly for a long-term residence permit (spouse, children, parents). Issued for 1 year and up to 2, 3 or 5 years depending on the main applicant's permit. Key benefit: free access to the Czech labour market — no work permit needed and you can change employers freely.
Best for: Families where the main applicant already holds a long-term permit and the relative wants to work or change jobs freely in Czechia.

Some cardholders only need to report a change. Others must notify the authorities in advance and cannot start the new role before the required conditions are met. We will identify the correct process, prepare the notification and help you avoid a preventable employment gap.

Frequently asked questions about Czech visa and residence support
Can ManGO help me if I am already living in Czechia?
Yes. This service is designed primarily for foreigners already living in Czechia. We help with applications, extensions, changes of employer, family residence, student status, permanent residence and other immigration matters. Your available options depend on your current status and deadlines, so we begin with an individual assessment.
Which Czech visas and residence permits do you support?
Our priority services include Employee Cards, EU Blue Cards, family visas and family reunification, student visas and residence permits, and employer changes. We also assist with permanent residence, EU-related residence, business or freelance cases, citizenship and selected administrative matters.
Is the first consultation really free?
The initial 30-minute assessment of your specific case is free. Its purpose is to understand your situation, identify the likely service and explain the next step. It is not a general training session or a substitute for a full written legal analysis.
Do I need to visit the immigration office personally?
Some steps require your personal attendance. We handle or prepare everything that can legally be completed without you, book appointments where applicable, prepare you for the visit and can provide in-person assistance when agreed.
Can you communicate with the Czech immigration authorities for me?
In many cases, yes, when representation is legally possible and the required authorisation is in place. Some actions and appointments must still be completed by the applicant personally.
How much does immigration support cost?
Professional fees depend on the service and complexity. For the main B2C services, indicative fees start from 10,000 CZK for an extension and from 12,000–15,000 CZK for many first applications filed in Czechia. We confirm the price, included work and likely third-party expenses after the free assessment.
What is not included in the professional fee?
Unless your individual quote states otherwise, government fees and direct third-party expenses are separate. These can include notarisation, sworn translations, couriers, medical insurance, accommodation documentation and other external services.
Can you guarantee that my application will be approved?
No responsible immigration professional can guarantee a decision made by the authorities. We assess the available facts, identify risks, prepare the application carefully and help prevent avoidable mistakes, missing documents and missed deadlines.
Can you help me change employers with an Employee Card or EU Blue Card?
Yes. The correct process depends on your permit and labour-market access. Some changes are reported after they take effect, while others require advance notification or additional conditions. Contact us before your planned start date so we can assess the correct procedure.
Can you help clients outside Prague?
Yes. Most preparation and communication can be handled online, and we support clients in Brno and across Czechia. The competent office, filing method and need for personal attendance depend on your residence and type of application.
What should I do if my deadline is close?
Submit the assessment form immediately and include the exact deadline, current permit type and any official letter you have received. Do not send sensitive documents through the public form. We will explain the secure next step if we can assist.
Is advice from an expat Facebook group enough?
Community experience can be useful, but it cannot replace an assessment of your nationality, current status, employment, family situation, documents and deadlines. Immigration decisions are fact-specific, and an answer that worked for someone else may not apply to you.
Your next step can be simple
Get a clear immigration plan before a deadline becomes a problem.
Tell us what you need, where you are in the process and when your current status expires. We will assess the basic facts and explain the recommended next step.
